Set in the heart of historic Bath is Pratts Hotel- a hotel which prides itself on its warm and friendly welcome. Built in the heady days of Beau Nash- Pratts Hotel has been part of the heritage of the city for more than 200 years. This classical Georgian hotel built from famous Bath stone was originally 5 townhouses- 2 of which were used as boarding houses for some famous occupants including Sir Walter Scott- William Wilberforce and Dame Peggy Ashcroft. Mrs Frederick Pratt bought the boarding house at No 5 in 1910 and by 1917 the property was registered as Pratts Hotel. Today the hotel boasts a wealth of interesting features and offers 46 individually decorated bedrooms with ensuite facilities- attention to detail and comfort in each room provides an individual flavour to your stay. The elegant restaurant serves a wide range of popular and classical dishes and an extensive and imaginative wine list. The bar offers views onto the famous South Parade and is the ideal place for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap to round off the evening. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are served in one of the comfortable lounges. For business visitors there are two conference rooms situated in a secluded part of the hotel- both offering natural daylight and audio-visual equipment. There is a pay and display car park opposite the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated for both leisure and corporate guests wishing to visit this magical city. A short walk from the hotel is the Bath Sports and Leisure Centre with an excellent pool and gym and the famous rugby and cricket grounds are also close by. Bath also offers a wealth of cultural attractions including museums- theatres- jazz clubs- street entertainers and the classical quartet in the Pump Room. From 1st July the hotel will become completely no smoking when the Smokefree England legislation comes into force. We believe that providing a smoke-free environment will enhance the well-being and comfort of our guests and employees.
