The Grand Veranda serves Swedish traditional food in a contemporary fashion and is celebrated not just for its views but also for being one of the only Swedish restaurants to serve traditional Smörgåsbord. Over the years the hotel has built up an award winning wine cellar housing over 20,000 bottles, including a few from the opening year 1874. Named after the hotel's founder, the Cadier Bar with its award winning drinks, bartenders, location and buzzing atmosphere, has an extensive cocktail menu, serving drinks from all over the world. The bar has newly been enlarged and offers à la carte breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, weekend brunch, evening cocktails and more informal dinners. Spring 2007 a new fine dining restaurant will open run by top chef Mathias Dahlgren.
